On Friday, in front of a packed showroom full of customers, partners and governing bodies from Sport and Fitness, Anytime Leisure officially opened their new Sport and Fitness Showroom in Newbridge.
Special guest, Judy Murray, was present to cut the ribbon in front of representatives from every corner of the industry including sport and fitness equipment giants Star Trac and Polar, and specialist sports equipment manufacturer Harrod UK to name only a few.
The event was also held as a celebration and launch of several major projects which Anytime Leisure has been driving forward through 2013, including the showroom opening, launch of a new Sport and Fitness Catalogue and the start of a partnership with the Scottish Volleyball Association.
Director Paul Bodger welcomed guests to Anytime Leisure's new head office and showroom then went on to give thanks to the suppliers and commercial customers who have helped the company to reach this point.
Anytime Leisure has increased their workforce from 22 to 32 in the past year to help them push into the highly competitive sport and home fitness markets. The success Anytime has experienced recently has not only brought with it significant new commercial contracts but also the opportunity to establish partnerships with some outstanding organisations.
From 2014, Anytime Leisure will be the official supplier of equipment for the Scottish Volleyball Association and will also host and operate the governing body's online shop. Jonny Curley, Director said "The prospect of working closely with an influencial and prominent organisation like the SVA is very exciting. We're looking forward to developing thier retail operations and showing those involved in volleyball what great products we have on offer."
